This year, the library will celebrate this special day with two community events on Saturday, April 30. One event will be at Alder Elementary School from 1–3 pm, and the other event will be in the St. Johns Business District from 11 am–6 pm.
Both events will feature music, free books, activity packs for all the kids, and other surprises for the whole family.
The community will also have the opportunity to participate in Day from Home, with activity packs. You can visit any Multnomah County library and pick up your activity packet beginning April 25. We will have the Exploration Pack for children ages 1-3 and the Small Mural Pack for children over 3 years of age.
